2024 하반기 CICA 영 코리안 아티스트 개인전 시리즈 작가 공모
CICA 미술관에서 한국 기반으로 활동하고 있는 현대 작가를 선정하여 개인전 시리즈 및 영문 서적 출판을 통해 국제 무대에 소개하는 기회를 마련하고자 합니다. 선정된 작가는 CICA 미술관 전시실 (약 44m2/12평)에서 일주일간 개인전을 하게 됩니다. 작가 및 작품 소개는 e북 “CICA Art Now 2025”에 수록되며, 아마존 킨들에서 판매 예정입니다. 서적은 프린트 버전으로 주문 제작 가능합니다.

2023년 11월 28일: 공모 마감
2023년 12월 1일-30일: 선정 작가에게 메일이 갈 예정입니다.
2024년 7월 – 12월 사이: 영 코리안 아티스트 개인전 시리즈
2025년 8월 1일: “CICA Art Now 2025” 출판 예정일

*참가방법
-간단한 자기소개 및 이력과 포트폴리오를 cicamuseum.submission@gmail.com으로 보내주세요. 텍스트 문서는 DOC, TXT, PDF 형식으로 보내주시기 바랍니다. HWP 파일은 받지 않습니다.
-이메일의 제목 란에 “Submission: Young Korean Artists Solo Show – 작가 이름(영문/한글)”이라고 적어주세요.
-포트폴리오 형식: 디지털 이미지, 영상 링크, 또는 온라인 포트폴리오 링크
– 이미지는 JPG (100-500KB 권장) 또는 PDF 형식으로 이미지 10점까지 보내실 수 있습니다. 큰 용량의 파일의 경우 Google Drive, Dropbox와 같은 링크 형태로 공유해 주시기 바랍니다. HWP (한글파일), ZIP 파일 및 다운로드 만료 기간이 있는 대용량 첨부 파일은 받지 않습니다.
– 영상 작품의 경우 Youtube 또는 Vimeo 등 영상 사이트에 업로드 하신 후 링크를 공유해 주세요. 영상 및 웹 아트는 3작품까지 가능.

*당선된 작가는 760,000원의 전시 진행 및 관리 비용을 지불하게 됩니다. 전시를 위한 작품의 배송, 설치, 및 철수의 책임은 작가에게 있습니다.

Call for Artists: CICA Young Korean Artists Solo Show Series Fall 2024
CICA Museum invites Korean artists worldwide and international artists based in Korea to participate in the Young Korean Artists Show Series Fall 2024 and the publication. Each selected artist will have a solo exhibition for a week in the gallery space (around 44m2) at the CICA Museum. The artists will be also featured in the e-book, “CICA Art Now 2025,” which will be available via Amazon. The printed version will be available by order.

*The categories include:
– Painting
– Photography
– Sculpture and Installation Art
– Performance
– Video & New Media Art

*Timeline:
November 28, 2023: Close submissions
December 1-30, 2023: Approvals: Selected artists will be notified by email.
Between July and December 2024: Young Korean Artists Show Series
August 1, 2025: Expected publication date of “CICA Art Now 2025″

*How to submit your work:
– Please send us up to 10 JPG (100-500 kilobytes per image recommended) portfolio images and/or up to 3 direct links to video/ web/interactive art, your artist statement, and bio. Please email them to “cicamuseum.submission@gmail.com.”
***Preferred formats for text: DOC, TXT, or PDF
***We do not accept ZIP or HWP files.
***If the size of your file exceeds the email attachment size limit, please share the file via Google Drive or Dropbox. We do not accept WeTransfer and similar services that have expiration dates for downloading.
– Please write “Submission: Young Korean Artists Solo Show – Artist’s Name” in the subject line of your email.

If the artist is selected, s/he will be required to pay the show maintenance fee: $600 (USD). The artist is responsible for the installation, shipment and delivery of his/her work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses.
