CICA 미술관 국제전 “Text-ure”에 참여하실 아티스트들을 공모합니다.
본 국제전은 문자, 맥락, 질감, 촉감 등을 주제로 다루는 사진, 드로잉, 회화, 뉴 미디어 아트, 영상, 조각, 설치 작품을 전시 예정입니다.
* 공모 마감: 2022년 12월 23일
* 카테고리:

*작품의 설치
– 사진 및 2D 디지털 아트
선정된 작품은 10×15 inch (25.4cm x 38.1cm) 또는 10×10 inch (25.4cm x 25.4cm) 사이즈로 출력되어 프레이밍되며 CICA 미술관 큐레이터와 스텝이 설치합니다. 다른 사이즈로 프린트를 원하실 경우 지원 이메일에 명시하여 주시기 바랍니다.
– 영상 및 인터렉티브 아트
전시를 위한 프로젝터, DVD/DIVX 플레이어 등이 지원되며 작품은 CICA 미술관의 큐레이터들이 작가님의 가이드라인에 따라 작품을 설치 예정입니다. 작품의 수송에서 발생하는 비용은 작가가 부담합니다. 몇 점의 싱글 채널 비디오 작품들이 한 프로젝터에서 상영될 예정입니다. 작품이 하나의 프로젝터에서 단독으로 설치되어야 하는 경우, 또는 두 대 이상의 프로젝터나 모니터를 필요로 하는 작품의 경우 추가 비용이 발생할 수 있습니다.
– 회화, 조각 및 설치 작업
작품의 수송에서 발생하는 비용은 작가가 부담합니다. 평면 작업의 경우 최대 1 m × 1 m의 작품을, 설치 작업의 경우 최대 1m x 1m x 2m (w x l x h) 이하의 작품을 공모하실 수 있습니다. 벽에 설치하는 작품의 경우 최대 10 kg까지 가능합니다. 그 외 사이즈의 작품의 전시를 원하실 경우 지원 이메일에 명시하여 주시기 바랍니다.
*전시 일정: 2023년 7월 12일 – 30일

-영상 온라인 링크 3개 이하, JPG 이미지 5개 이하를 간단한 이력 및 자기소개와 함께 “cicamuseum.submission@gmail.com”으로 보내주세요.
* 대용량 파일은 Google Drive 또는 Dropbox와 같은 링크 형태로 공유해주세요. 만료 기간이 있는 대용량 파일은 받지 않습니다.
-이메일 제목 란에 “Submission: Text-ure – 카테고리 – 작가이름 (영어/한글)”라고 적어주세요.
선정된 작가는 작품 한 점당 85,000원의 전시 진행 및 유지 비용을 지불하게 됩니다.

Call for Artists: the International Exhibition “Text-ure”
CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the International Exhibition, “Text-ure” We are open to photography, 2D digital art, video art, interactive art, drawings, paintings, prints, sculptures, and installation art dealing with subjects on text, context, texture, and tactility.
*Deadline: December 23, 2022
*The categories include:
-Painting, Drawing, and Print
-Sculpture & Installation Art
-Photograph & 2D Digital Art
-Video & Interactive Art
*Installation
-Photographs & 2D Digital Art
Selected works will be printed in 10×15 inches, framed, and installed by our curators & assistants. If requested by the artist, works can be printed and framed in larger sizes. Additional fees may apply.
-Video & Interactive Art
We will provide projectors and DVD/DIVX players for the show. Multiple single-channel works will be screened through a projector. If the work is required to be screened through a projector exclusively, or more than two projectors/monitors are needed, please indicate the special requirements in the submission email. Additional fees may apply.
-Painting, Sculpture, & Installation Art
The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her physical work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses. The two-dimensional work should be no larger than 39 inch (1 m) on the longest side, and the installation piece should be no larger than 39x39x79 inches (1 x 1 x 2 m, w x l x h). The work that needs to be mounted on the wall should not exceed 10 kg. Please indicate in the submission email if you are interested in exhibiting works exceeding the size/weight limit.
*Exhibition Dates: July 12 – 30, 2023

*How to submit your work:
– Please send us up to 3 direct links to video and/or up to 5 JPG images (100-500KB recommended), and your bio. Please email them to “cicamuseum.submission@gmail.com.”
– Please write “Submission: Text-ure – Category – Artist’s Name” in the subject line of your email.
If the work is selected, the artist will be required to pay the show processing & maintenance fee: $70 (USD) per work.
